Tejasvi’s House Near Kaimara, 3 kilometers from the Mudigere town of Chikamagalur district is Tejasvi's farm house. Sliding off the entrance gate leads a foot-road flanked by coffee plants on both sides. Pleasant nature, greenery everywhere around makes it an ideal place for bird watching and photography. Tejasvi’s better half Rajeshwari is very fond of gardening, and we can easily notice that by finding all sorts of flowering plants around the house. © Mallikarjuna.D.G. Purnachandra Tejasvi’s autograph on his photograph Tejasvi has captured some of the best bird photographs. As said by himself, "there is 40 years of experience and perseverance" behind his photographs. Along with photography Tejasvi is also versed in painting and playing the Sitar instrument. When I asked him about his popular translated works like Kenith Anderson, Jim Corbett, and Henry Charere’s Papillon, he answered that he had an active friends group who used to discuss and debate these stories while he was in high-school and hence he could able to remember them and reproduce even after 40 years.
On asking him to continue his millennium series edition he replied with a giggle, "People expect us to write novels or story-lined books when we write information oriented books, and informative books when we end up with novels!". He also remembered the words of legendary Shivaram Karanth who insisted him to write informative books for children saying that the future lies in children’s hand and there is a need to mentor them than the grown up. © Mallikarjuna.D.G.
